Business Advisor

Junior Achievement Young Enterprise (JAYE) Malta Foundation has been involved in the field of Entrepreneurship Education for over 25 years.  Participants are given a unique hands-on experience through the planning, creation and setting-up of their own business venture. Such an experience allows them to gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to become successfully employed and enter the world of entrepreneurship with confidence.

The Company Programme offers 6th form students aged 16 – 19 years a pathway to learn how to take a business idea from concept to reality. Students discover first-hand how a company functions by electing a board of directors from amongst their peers, raise share capital and they market and finance a product /service of their own choice.  The programme culminates with the presentation of their annual report and accounts to their shareholders. Through this experience, students develop further important skills such as teamwork, leadership, and planning as they also learn to take responsibility for their company’s evolution. It is the perfect preparation for working life!

We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to form part of our Business Advisor programme for our post-secondary level programmes; ideal for middle-to-senior management staff, the opportunity offered will help develop further a broad spectrum of business management skills, whilst sharing know-how and mentoring a number of energetic and hard-working youth. JAYE Malta will provide the necessary materials and coaching to advisors participating in the respective programmes.
