JAYE MALTA FOUNDATION

Junior Achievement Young Enterprise (JAYE) Malta Foundation is a member nation of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide which represents a global network of non-profit organisations sharing a common mission and purpose to be leaders in the field of enterprise education. JAYE Malta aims to spur economic development through improving young people's understanding of business, economics and entrepreneurship, through a partnership between local business and education communities. Entrepreneurship is a basic skill which needs to be provided through life-long learning. JAYE Malta was founded to educate, empower and inspire young people so that they may transform their futures and achieve entrepreneurial success in a global economy. Such skills and attitudes must be encouraged amongst young people right from the early years of their academic education.

JAYE MALTA NUMBERS

Junior Achievement Young Enterprise (JAYE ) Malta Foundation is a non-profit organisation currently offering six programmes that seeks to promote Entrepreneurship Education in Malta and Gozo. Over the past 27 years JAYE Malta has been instrumental in offering entrepreneurship programmes to thousands of students throughout the various stages of their development, at Primary, Secondary, Post Secondary and Tertiary levels respectively. These programmes are supported, through not only funding but expert guidance of volunteer consultants from Malta's various local business communities. Our programmes and initiatives are aimed at helping young people appreciate and better understand the role of business in our society. For each level we have determined specific objectives, outputs and outcomes, prepared specific materials, and engage particular individuals to work with. Below are all the different figures accumulated by JAYE Malta through our programmes.
